This opal is so pretty!
Waves of shimmering aqua, green, pink, mandarin and lilac sweep through this solid pipe opal from Queensland Australia--6.9 carats. I've wrapped the opal in the gleaming warmth of 22k gold--so rich. This opal deserves nothing less--right? I then set the opal on a base of 22k gold/silver bimetal (see the description below). At the base of the opal I wrapped gemstone beads in 14k gold to create a lush fringe--pink sapphire, mandarin garnet, tsavorite garnet, sky blue topaz and swiss blue topaz.
The 1/8" wide band is 22k gold/silver bimetal as well. It measures a US size 8.
Can't you imagine wearing this ring and getting lost in the color as you roll your hand back and forth? You will get loads of admiration from those around you as well!
